Ronald II Palma aka DJ Ron, “El Monstro del Amargue” – born in Nicaragua in 1976, moved to San Francisco in 1978, raised in San Francisco’s Mission District. I am

He has been influenced by the music he heard as child (Cuco Valoy, El Gran Combo, Oscar D’León, Lalo Rodriguez, Tommy Olivencia, etc. and all the latin genres) and the best of the 80’s, 90’s Hip Hop (Eric B. & Rakim, Big Daddy Kane, De La Soul, Gang Starr, Pete Rock & C.L. Smooth, EPMD).

Has been collecting music since his teens, has a strong passion for music and dance. His first love was Salsa but his true passion is Bachata. Bachata Dura!

Started DJing after a good friend saw the passion he had and suggested he try it. It has been 6 years now and he loves it. He is known for his versatility. He enjoys watching people react to the music he plays this makes him want to continue DJing. Always looking for ways to learn and educate new and experienced dancers about music.
